Best Doorway Pull Up Bar Reviews – Top 5
There are basically 2 styles of doorway pull up bars you’ll need to consider:
- Doorway Leverage – This style of pull up bar is positioned in a doorway and is leveraged against the wood moldings surrounding the door. This style does not require mounting brackets but they are an option on some models.
- Doorway Telescopic / Adjustable / Expanding – This is the simplest doorway pull up bar. This type of bar expands to fit in the doorway between the door jambs. Mounting brackets are used with these bars (the bar twists or expands into the brackets). Although some manufactures claim the brackets are optional, I don’t recommend it.
